I’m confused…
Found both these images on the same page of the National Review online magazine (for those of you who haven’t read it, it’s a very conservative mag, and is rife with pro-Republican ads and commentary).
What I don’t understand is what these images mean? Why dress Kerry up like Ché Guevara and make Reagan look like Mao Tse-Tung? Doesn’t portraying Regan as a communist go contrary to his whole movement against communism? Both posters suggest “revolution”, but what was revolutionary about Regan? Why is revolution/communism good in one image and bad in another? Is it that Republican conservatives like the Marxist-Leninism flavour of communism better than the grass-roots Cuban style? Aaaah!
