A tenth of early teens sexually active: study

More than a tenth of Canadian teenagers report having sex by the age of 15 and those who tried smoking appeared also appeared more likely to become sexually active at a young age, Statistics Canada said Tuesday.
In a pair of reports looking at the sexual habits of Canadian young people, the agency looked at factors affecting when youths began having sex and, separately, condom use among teenagers and young adults.
