The Mayan Grill

Looks good. Not to many Mexican places in the KW area.
With tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas, gorditas, and panuchos blending into a burrito blur I sometimes find the flavours in Mexican dishes difficult to distinguish as various tortillas simply substituting here and there with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, salsa verde, or pico de gallo.
And good Mexican food is hard to come by. Athinula’s, once in Kitchener’s Howard Johnson hotel, marketed itself as Mexican fine dining and that just didn’t work. It’s been replaced by a kitchen serving Mexican and Indian cuisine.
