Hot Habs
Made a new batch of hot sauce tonight. Got some orders in, and ran out of stock, so it was time to get my ass in gear and get out the Vita-Mix. I was having a really big problem finding habaneros in the local stores. I’m thinking there’s been a bit of a dry season this summer. I was about ready to give up, when I finally tracked down a whole basket of ripe red habs at the local Sobeys. The one unfortunate consequence is that the sauce is hotter than usual. Mind you, some folks will be pleased as punch about that.
I still have some peppers left, so my next plan is to make a big batch of BBQ sauce. It’s barbecuing season, you know.
