Mmmmn, mini pizzas

Sitting at home, drinking a bottle of Red Cap Ale (one of the many redeeming aspects of Waterloo). I’m waiting for some mini pizzas to get done cooking, and I’m blogging to pass the time. R’s occupied with her Tropico 2: Pirate Cove game. Athena’s sitting in my lap, begging for attention.
We moved a friend on Sunday — got all her stuff from point A to point B. We managed to get a few tables out of the garage as well by making a donation to the new appartment fund. This is good, since I need to get as much excess crap out of my garage for the impending renovations (anyone want a double-sized futon frame?). It worked out well for us, since she bought us pizza afterwards, although she didn’t mention how many stairs we’d have to climb when unloading. Worked out in the end.
So now I’ve got a big empty space where my coffee table used to sit, and I need to find something sylish to put in its place. Thinking of heading down to the Sears Home store on the south end of Kitchener. I know, but contrary to what you might think, they’ve actually started getting some stylish (and expensive) furniture. There’s also this small place that’s opened up by the Princess Twin cinema, and it’s totally stylin’. That might be the more obvious choice. I’ll have to check it out this week.
